"He who calls you is faithful and He will do it" (I Thessalonians 5:24). Whether it's salvation, the new life in Jesus Christ or God's leading in our life, it's God's work. God will accomplish it.
I'm going to try something new with this post. It's an idea I'm borrowing from
someone else's blog. Short descriptive sentences to tell this month's story.
1 February BIG NEWS : WorldVenture Journey Corps Paris ! Check it out. My ministry. Interested ??? 1-2 years. Ask and asnwer : Who is God ? Who am I ? What is my part in God's mission ? Spiritual growth. Culture. Language. Ministry. Serve. Hard. Fun. Work. Worth it !!!
1st week. At WorldVenture. Partner development
training. Learning. Encouraging. Exhorting. Great information. Reconnect with other missionaries. Exciting !
2nd week. Frontier School of
the Bible missions conference. Representing France an
d WorldVenture. Spoke. Two workshops. Good conversations. Interest in Journey Corps ! Conversation with missions director. Frontier summer missions trip to Europe. France, Austria, Ireland. Camp of the Peaks. I worked there ! Invited to go with the team. Said yes. Two weeks in July. STOKED !!! THANK YOU GOD !!!
Weeks 3 and 4. Last two weeks as regular hospital employee. Now PRN aka "as needed." Work as little or as much as I want. Same time God opening many doors. Speaking. Sharing. Churches. Individuals. Small groups. More time to commit to support discovery. God's perfect timing. God's provision.
Final week of March. Presentation of ministry to Rocky Mountain Bible Church missions committee. Peace. Confindence. Thank you prayer warriors !!! Went well. Waiting for decision. Left for trip to Kansas City, Missouri. Snow storm. More snow... Spent night at rest stop between Junction City and Topeka. Arrived safely. Travled to Springfield, Missouri. Time with cousins Josh
and Jenny Lambert and their family. Small group presentation in the evening. Thanks guys !
Financial situation : 15% of monthly support. $3,804/month still needed. 23% of one-time support raised ! $16,555 still needed. Goal : 65% by beginning of May. Need to be there in order to go to cultural training end of May beginning of June. Please pray about becoming a financial partner.
Prayer : 1. Full sharing schedule in May in the Northwest 2. Enough support to attend cultural training 3. Support from Rocky Mountain Bible Church 4. Patience in God's timing 5. A heart that fears/respects God
